Improvements for DocNote moderations

Moderation overview page

http://developer.qt.nokia.com/doc/mods

  • show date and author of original note
  • show date author of last edit (if applicable)
  • show date/time and author of moderation request
  • add link to note's history (like on the regular doc page)
  • add possibility to read the note without editing it

Edit DocNote in moderation mode

e.g. http://developer.qt.nokia.com/doc/mods/edit/122

  • show date and author of original note
  • show date author of last edit (if applicable)
  • show content, date/time and author of moderation request
  • add link to note's history (like on the regular doc page)

List of a users's DocNotes

e.g. http://developer.qt.nokia.com/doc/all_notes_by_author/20

  • don't remove downrated notes, but mark them with a red exclamation mark and add an edit link
    • they should only be visible to the author for easy access when fixing
  • show rating for each note?
  • don't double list notes that apply to more than one Qt version (it's still one note)

Misc

  • in the email a user gets to notify him of downrating a note, add a link to edit the note
  • don't hide downrated DocNotes for forum moderators (or users with some rank), but just mark them in the regular doc pages
  • alternatively, hide it on a per user preference setting (default would be to hide it)

Improvements for DocNote user experience

  • add a manual, describing the moderation/life cycle process of a note
it's not clear that the moderation page is open to everyone logged into DevNet
  • add a "link to this note" link, like for comments in the forums
