Hi Simow, if you find duplicate pages, feel free to redirect them to the "master" page. Keep an eye out for forks though. For example, Qtserialport and QtSerialPort were both edited independently. Once I've confirmed with Kuzulis that he's finished merging them, we'll redirect the first page. --JKSH (talk) 04:34, 14 March 2015 (UTC) | Hi Simow, if you find duplicate pages, feel free to redirect them to the "master" page. : Hi JKSH, agreed for your case. But in my case Building-Qt-5-from-Git-SimplifiedChinese and Building-qt-5-from-git-simplifiedchinese contain exactly the same content. Furthermore Building-qt-5-from-git-simplifiedchinese is referenced nowhere. So I saw no point in keeping a redirect. But otherwise I will surely merge pages, as I already did with Qt_for_beginners_Signals_and_slots -- Simow (talk) 11:27, 14 March 2015 (UTC) | |||
:: Good point. At first, I thought that the previous (qt-project.org) wiki already had the duplicates, so I wanted to preserve the redirects in case any external sites linked to them. However, it turns out that the previous wiki had case-insensitive titles. So, the current duplicates are actually caused by improper imports, and should be deleted. --JKSH (talk) 13:11, 15 March 2015 (UTC) |
