Installing snapshot (or pre-release) via online installer

  • 1. Download latest online installer from qt.io/download (or for TQtC internal users latest qt online test client from internal server) & start the installer

  • 2. Insert your qt account details (or skip those in case you don't have ones)

  • 3. Select installation directory

  • Select Components To Install.png

    4. Select snapshot to be installed from component tree view. Note: Most probably you should install only the targets you really need.

  • 5. Accept the license

  • 6. Select 'Install'

  • 7. After installation close the installer by pressing 'Finish'.

Update new snapshot (or new pre-release) in the existing online installation

NOTE: Please make sure there is already installed snapshot(or pre-release) in the online installation.

  • 1. Open maintenance tool

  • 2. Insert login details. Note: Use same ones as with original installation! And this view is optional & not shown if login details was skipped in original installation.
