Qt has a number of IRC channels, located on the freenode IRC network. For a list of official channels, see here (https://wiki.qt.io/OnlineCommunities#fd7cfb00ff818bba4ce97ae5291ae16a)

Services

A number of services are provided for the Qt Project that integrate with/around IRC.

qt_gerrit

qt_gerrit is an IRC bot that can look up changes in Qt's JIRA by ID and display the summary on IRC. qt_gerrit is also responsible for sending Gerrit changes to #qt-gerrit and other configured channels. If you would like qt_gerrit in your (#qt- prefixed) channel, talk to w00t (aka Robin Burchell: robin+qt@viroteck.net).

Logs

IRC logs are maintained for official channels that opt-in. They are hosted on http://qt.viroteck.net/irc/logs/. If you would like your official channel logged, please talk to w00t (aka Robin Burchell: robin+qt@viroteck.net).
