The Qt Company has announced that Qbs will transition into a stand-alone open source project. The project will continue to be maintained by the community. Qt will continue to support integration with Qbs but will be using CMake for official builds of Qt itself going forward.

Reporting Bugs

Please report any bugs in our bug tracker at https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QBS .

Getting the Source

The source code repository is hosted at codereview.qt-project.org and mirrored on code.qt.io.

git clone git://code.qt.io/qbs/qbs.git

To build qbs simply do

qmake -r qbs.pro
make

in the source directory.

Binary Releases

Binary releases of Qbs are available as part of Qt Creator and the Qt SDK. See the section about installation in the Qbs manual.
