Bike Sharing Demo

Location-based and map-centric mobile demo app, which shows available rental bikes for a bike sharing or car sharing service.

Description

The demo uses a mapview to show available rental stations around the user’s position (GPS).

Specific stations can be marked as favorites for Simple access.

The demo shows how to:

• Display and customize a map
• Get the user's current location and display it on a map
• Load and parse XML data
• Show custom map markers with different styles on a map
• Show a custom view on top of the map
• Customize the look and feel with custom colors and fonts
