About Me

I'm not sure why I'm creating this page, but I mean, it's a user page right? So, I'll write something here while I wait for Qt to finish downloading! 😉

Career

I've worked as a sysadmin and security administrator on systems running Windows, FreeBSD / Unix and Linux for many years. I've also worked as a TCP/IP and Computer Security instructor in Oslo, Norway.

In 2010 I "switched careers" to do full-time software development, mainly using C#, C++ and Python. I also used Python a lot for administrative and system related programming in my years as a systems administrator. These days I'm into mobile and web development, mainly using Dart and the Flutter SDK.

I've used the Qt framework sporadically for many years, but never really took the time to learn it well.

Hoping to do something about that!
