Agenda/Minutes August 31st, 2010 - week 35
- QML / !QtDeclarative
- some of bugreports are feature suggestions rather than bugs
- jira is very slow now due to adding of some plugins
- Bauhaus / Creator
- investigating deployment workflow
- will start working on form designer tool again
- want stripped down QML format to use in design tool
- want to use Qt Components as the main building blocks
- importing graphics, e.g. photoshop files?
- useful for moving from static pixmap to native UI, early in dev
- not useful after development has started
- have a GIMP plugin prototype, might be reusable
- Documentation
- the style of QML docs feels wrong, the box of code is not distinct enough
- inconsistent bread crumbs, somewhere it's present - somewhere it's not
- properties have same font and size as rest of text - should be larger and more distincts / easily accessible
- docteam could write more QML so they experience the barriers in the docs
- !QtComponents
- starting planning for next 3 weeks which will finish with an Alpha
- currently working around problems that are faced in QML
- should file suggestions in Jira
- QML Enablers
- adding content to Qt Components project in Jira
