- Check that your system meets Qt's requirements
- All open issues can be found from Jira
- RTA findings here
- Supported development platforms are listed here
All platforms
- Configuring Qt with -no-gui fails, see (QTBUG-107007)
- Module dependencies aren't installed automatically
- e.g. quicknanobrowser example won't work if all dependencies aren't installed properly (QTBUG-106802)
- Install webchannel & qtpositioning modules as well to solve the issue
- e.g. quicknanobrowser example won't work if all dependencies aren't installed properly (QTBUG-106802)
- Copying text from QTextEdit to other applications does not handle line breaks well. This is a regression from Qt 6.3 (QTBUG-107004)
Linux
Qt applications using QProcess crash when run in qemu (QTBUG-98951) or under valgrind (QTBUG-87230).
- Workaround: configure Qt with
-no-feature-forkfd_pidfd
macOS
Windows
- Fonts are too large on High DPI screen (regression in Qt 6.4.1, see QTBUG-108593)
Android
QTBUG-106939: Error: "qmlimportscanner not found" while building examples while using cmake
- Workaround: Just ignore the message
iOS
qtpdf binaries aren't available for iOS with Qt 6.4.0 but those can be compiled by yourself if needed
